Motivation for this page

About two years ago (2004) being a kitesurf beginner I browsed the net for information about where and how to kite in the Brisbane South Queensland area. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything except of a few weak notes and some windsurf guy's web reports. Even now a decent kite spot guide for the Brisbane area is unavailable.

This spot guide might have lag of information for some or not be versatile enough for others but it doesn't aim on perfection instead of suppling the reader with enough information helping to pick the right spot for the right conditions
and skills.

I'm also confidently promoting the kitesurf spot itself as being in balance with forces of nature and using them wise.
