Bribie Island
60km north of Brisbane city
The Bribie Island spots are not recommended to experienced rides, since they consist of deep channels with strong tidal flows.
South Esplanade near Bucklays hole and Redbeach are the recommended SW to W wind spot. The south westerly hits half on shore, but is less gusty than on any other main land spot in the Brisbane area.
Worrim beach works the best on Northerly- and Southerlies.
This spot is right on the Moreton Bay Passage and pretty unprotected.

. crystal clear water
. huge beach area
. not many kitesurfers
. if you're lucky you kite with dolphins

. strong current
. spots are pretty calm and unprotected
